Basics of Web Promotion
Let me tell you something about the basics of web promotions. I may not explain it elaborately the things that I will list below but rest assured that these are the basics of web promotion and these are just the few of them. There are more other web promotion basic depending on the kind of website we are maintaining and the interests we are into.
Basics of Web Promotion:
1. Ensure that the main keywords that people are likely to enter into the search box of the major search engines are included on the homepage of your website - this is essential
2. Attempt to gain links on other sites within your industry, this could be achieved by asking your friends and contacts to do this or by offering to write content for your competitors website
3. Write articles about your products and marketplace and submit them to the best article directories
4. Regularly update your website with fresh unique content.
5. Add your website on all of your literature including on business cards and on any e-mails you send.
