Most of us, bloggers, do not use a domain name for our blog. We only used a subdomain (youblog.blogspot.com) provided to by Blogger, maybe because domains are paid annually and it is very expensive for us. Or perhaps, we only don’t know the advantages of a domain name.

I think there's a lot of advantages a domain name may have depending on its use and purpose. However these advantages I will mention are only some of the advantages available and these are the advantages I know.

1. `Naming Rights` - A domain name may only be registered once and for one buyer only. Since it is in a first come, first served basis, the first one to register the name shall have the right to use the name.

2. `Identity` - Just the same as a brand name or a logo, a domain name represents an identity which visitors always recognize.

3. `Simplicity` - if used for blogger, you domain name shortens the URL address of your blog and it is much easier to remember.

4. `Adds Credibility` - A domain name projects a professional image of you. It tends to say that you are a professional blogger.

5. `More Advertisers` - Some advertisers prefer a domain name than a sub domain name. With the use of a domain name, there is an expansion of opportunities for your blog. More advertisers, more tasks.

Do you really think that theaters will be obsolete in the advent of internet rentals? I think it won't become obsolete because not all people can afford to watch it over the internet and knows how to use a computer. Watching movie in a theater is still one of the traditional way of dating, so many couples would still have to watch movies in a theater to have their date. Going to theaters is also one way of relieving stress, to be somewhere and forget problems for a couple of hours, and to relax for a while.

It's been a year already since I bought the parts of my desktop and assembled it on my own. Though I am not a technician, I still managed to assemble it. But now, one of the parts, the hard disk, has already expired. It was triggered when I tried to reinstall the operating system. I already installed Windows XP first but installation would not continue. Then I tried Ubuntu Linux but after a day some of its programs won't work anymore. So, I reinstalled Ubuntu again but the installation won't continue anymore. So, I guessed the hard disk has the problem. Hopeful enough that it would still work, I found my Fedora CDs and installed it. Successfully installed, I thought it was already okay but after a day, I could not start the operating system again. I know that the hard disk had the problem.

I remembered someone said that a hard disk had a life span of 1 or 2 years. I can't remember all the details, but I think he said it was a year or 2. If it was a year, then my hard disk has already expired.

I usually checked directly on the specifications and features of the products and read some of its details. But when I open this website, after reading a post, I realized that I missed some of the best offers I searched in the internet.

This is a web tool I have created. My inspiration was Mister Linky's Magical Widget, popularly used by Wordless Wednesday. Though the format of widget was just similar to Mister Linky, the submission is different because you still have to add the reciprocal link in your site first before your link will be added. In this manner, exchange link is much easier because you don't have to contact the blog owner anymore just for your link to be added.



We believe that link exchange is a key to increase our pagerank. With the use of Auto Reciprocal Linker, pagerank is always assured.

This one is this blog's screen shot. I've done this through Ubuntu Linux because creating screen shots in Linux is very easy. You don't need any photo editing software anymore. All you need to do is to press the print screen button in your keyboard then save and a screen shot image is then ready for upload.



But I edited it first through Gimp, a photo editing software in Linux. I removed the unnecessary portions of the screenshot.

Well if you are using Windows and you need to make a screenshot, all you need to do is to press the print screen button on your keyboard then paste it to Paint, a default photo editor of Windows.

Anyway, the purpose of this post is to test if my screenshot will really appear in Google Image Search.
